Music Star Teachers’ Concert 2026

Music Star, a Christchurch-based music institution, proudly presents Stars of Something New, a special concert celebrating the artistry and musical collaboration of our teaching faculty.

Featuring violin, viola, cello, flute, double bass, and piano, the programme brings together a diverse selection of chamber music, exploring different colours, styles, and musical expressions.

The programme features works by Pleyel, Dvořák, Debussy, Piazzolla, Massenet, Carl Frühling, Aramsky, and C. Cui, spanning the Classical, Romantic, Impressionist, and contemporary traditions.

Stars of Something New celebrates the spirit of exploration and new artistic possibilities, while highlighting the individual voice and shared musical energy of each performer.
