Join us to celebrate the launch of Christchurch's new opera company, Toi Toi Opera.

Toi Toi Opera is a new charity in Ōtautahi, Christchurch, focussed on providing opera performance and development opportunities for established and aspiring local opera singers, as well as making opera more accessible and relevant to the community. Ahead of our inaugural production, Puccini's Suor Angelica & Elegies (19-21 February 2021), please join us at 7pm on Saturday 30 January at The Piano (156 Armagh St) to celebrate the launch of Christchurch's newest opera company. During the evening you'll hear more about our intentions for Toi Toi Opera, insights on the design for the upcoming production, and performances from some of the talent we are thrilled to be showcasing. We are thrilled to also have our patron, the beloved tenor Patrick Power ONZM present and participating during the evening.
