Pianist Otis Prescott-Mason is excited to return to Christchurch since winning 3rd prize in the National Concerto Competition in March of 2025. His recital, supported by The Piano’s Emerging Artist Fund, presents piano music by Franz Schubert, ranging from small minuets to the late G major piano sonata. Funds raised from this concert will contribute towards graduate study at the Yale School of Music.

Otis is from Wellington and a current classical performance student at Victoria University of Wellington's New Zealand School of Music. He currently studies under Dr. Jian Liu and Professor Boris Berman.
