This extraordinary Reconnection tour crossing Europe, Australia, USA and New Zealand, featuring iconic venues, such as Carnegie Hall New York and Sydney Opera House. Daniel has crafted his own musical identity, blending classical elegance with contemporary innovation. Creating a Bridge Between Cultures, our Christchurch based violinist Fiona Pears will join the stage, bringing an ‘Electrifying’ performance.

Daniel Verstappen, Pianist & Composer:
Starting playing the piano at the age of 5, Daniel gained his masters music degree at Lemmensinstitute, prestige music Academy in Belgium, Europe.
Daniel knows very well how to connect generations and cultures, creating an experience and giving classical music a new look, thereby reaching and inspiring young people.
He has performed together with with world-famous artists, such as Andrea Bocelli, Ennio Morricone, Anastacia, Amy MacDonald, Wyclef Jean, Angie Stone, Chaka Khan,…
Daniel's “musical ambassadorship” has also caught some royal attention. In 2022, he performed at the World Expo in Dubai in the presence of the Belgian King Philippe and Queen Mathilde and the prime minister of the UAE.
Fiona Pears, Violinist & Composer:
‘Electrifying’ – ‘extraordinarily animated’–‘featuring rare and natural charisma’….
Fiona has performed and recorded with artists such as Dave Dobbyn, Hayley Westenra, Bic Runga, and has opened for Tony Bennett, Ottmar Liebert and ‘the clown prince of Denmark’, the late Victor Borge. Personal highlights include appearing at Ronnie Scott’s world-famous jazz club in London and performing her own compositions and arrangements with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. Most recently Fiona has been based in her home town of Christchurch where she has formed a dynamic duo with virtuoso Gypsy jazz guitarist Connor Hartley-Hall. They have released a CD “South of France” and in 2021 did a Nationwide tour with AOTNZ.
