Both artists have crafted their own musical identity, blending classical elegance.

Following their acclaimed concert at The Piano Christchurch in April 2024, Verstappen and Pears reunite for a powerful return in 2026. Their musical connection is immediate and expressive — a dynamic dialogue between piano and violin that moves seamlessly from intimate moments to expansive, cinematic soundscapes.

The programme brings together original compositions by both artists alongside reimagined film music and rhythm-driven crossover works, creating a concert experience that is emotionally engaging and accessible, while retaining artistic depth. This is not a traditional classical recital, but a vivid live performance that transcends genre boundaries and resonates with a broad audience.

Daniel Verstappen has performed at leading international venues including Carnegie Hall (New York) and the Sydney Opera House, and is widely recognised for his ability to connect cultures and generations through music.

Fiona Pears contributes her distinctive sound and charismatic stage presence, shaped through collaborations with artists such as Dave Dobbyn and Hayley Westenra, and performances with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. Together, Verstappen and Pears create a concert of energy, elegance, and imagination — an experience that lingers long after the final note.
