The New Zealand premier of this astonishing and important work! Called a modern masterpiece,  Considering Matthew Shepard tells the story of one of the most painful and consequential moments in the evolution of human rights. A story that changed the laws against violence in the US more than 20 years ago but resonates today more than ever. This full length dramatic presentation blurs the lines of theatre, opera, choral, and musical theatre and utilises the genres of blues, chant, choral, and country western music to create a modern masterpiece.
