Fresh from the release of their new album A Flint & A Spark, Steven Logan, Luca Manghi and David Kelly present a vibrant programme for marimba, flute and piano.

Journey through the sounds of Aotearoa with Bjørn Arntsen’s hypnotic Threefold, emerging Christchurch composer Hannah Kagawa’s evocative Cloud Piercer, Michael Williams’s rhythmically charged A Flint & a Spark, and Chris Adams’s Three Sketches. Alongside these contemporary works, the trio explores the wit and warmth of Leonard Bernstein’s Bridal Suite and the charm of Fauré’s Dolly Suite, before finishing with Claire Scholes’s riotous Dem Bones.
