Maevon Music is the vocal & guitar studio of singer Trix Maeder and guitarist Sascha von Kaenel. Originally from Switzerland, the two moved to New Zealand in 2018.
Their private lessons target adult music lovers who always wanted to sing or play themselves but somehow didn’t get the chance to really get into it.
Inspired to promote the benefits of singing together, Trix recently started SingMates, a workplace choir experience. It is on offer to businesses and organizations who are looking for a fun way to foster the wellbeing of their people.
Next to teaching, the studio is the home base of their event duo Joy Frank.
Trix can draw from a pool of almost 20 years of performance experience,
as a lead vocalist on stage and in the studio, vocal arranger and songwriter. She honed her vocal & musical skills with various vocal coaches back home and in NZ.
Sascha has over 30 years of experience playing in bands, recording, performing and composing. He studied at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, where he had the chance to learn from some of the greatest guitar teachers in the world.
